Pittsburgh Voted 2nd Best City for Baseball



Pittsburgh was voted the second best city in America for baseball. With our beautiful stadium, cheap ticket prices and how well our boys have been doing, it's no surprise that we were ranked second! Pittsburgh has been ranked as the second best baseball city in America.

That is at least according to a study by Wallet-Hub — a web-based personal finance company.

According to their website, “To rank the cities, we looked at 11 key metrics such as the performance level of each city’s teams, average ticket and minimum season ticket prices, stadium accessibility and more.”

The Pirates and Pitt Panthers baseball team were represented in the study.

Pittsburgh ranked second in the study, trailing only Saint Louis. The Pirates were also ranked as having the fourth-lowest average ticket prices in MLB.

Wallet-Hub ranked a total of 272 cities in the report.
